I'm a sucker for "tobacco burst" colors! Love the JP in that color! Thanks for the pic. Any chance to get a few more of that guitar.

Also cool to see the Red Burst with the shield inlays.

^ +1 on the Ax40 - think I'll be buying one of those, unless I can find a black Axis in the $1k range.

When will the new 2012 AX40 be available for purchase?

Looks to be black or a deep blue - can't tell.

Either way I'm ready to order !!!!!

NO STERLING LUKE MODEL, colin? :(

Nope, someday but not this year. I heard something really cool might be coming later this year from SBMM, but, it's all speculative at this point. Let's keep our fingers crossed.

Oh an the SUB series…insanely good. I was impressed big time.

Hey guys,
Just literally walked in the door a few minutes ago. Had a great show. The show was crazy busy this year.

I will post pictures of the new models and our new SUB Series line tomorrow.

SBMM new for this year:
-AX40-TBK, trans black finish. Looks killer and was one of the most requested finishes for this model.
-JP100-3TS, 3 tone sunburst finish. Really works for this guitar. Looks sharp.
-JP60-PRB, the Pearl Red Burst finish has returned and is now available on the JP60 model. FYI - the JP60 has jumbo frets, Shield inlays, 3 way metal switch and John Petrucci's signature on the headstock.
-Ray34CA-BK, black finish with maple neck/fingerboard and tortoise shell pick guard.
-Ray34CA-VC, vintage creme w/ rosewood fingerboard and tortoise shell pick guard.
-Ray34-BLSP, Blue sparkle, this uses a large flake and looks really nice.

SUB Series
our new line of lower priced instruments. Street prices range from $199-$299 (USA prices).
Super high quality for this price point.

-Silo3 - based on the Silo30, available in Red, White and Black. 22 fret neck, trem bridge, 2 single coils and 1 hum bucker. Vol & tone.

-AX3 - based on the AX30, available in trans red and trans blue, 22 fret neck, term bridge, 2 hi output hum buckers. Bound top w/ faux quilt maple top. 5 way switch, vol & tone controls.

Ray4 - 4 string bass based on the Ray34, active 2 band preamp, hum bucking bass pickup, available in white, black and walnut satin. Has the narrow 38 mm nut width. This is a killer bass for the money! The Walnut satin finish is really nice.

Ray5 - 5 string based on the Ray35, available in black w/ maple fingerboard. 2 band preamp and hum bucking bass pickup.

the silo sub was the showstopper I could not believ e that quality for 199 street

My youngest kid will be 9 in May and has been asking me to buy him a guitar and/or bass for him to learn how to play. I think for his birthday, if the guitars are out by then, I will be getting him one of these. I don't know how you guys pulled off these guitars and basses at those prices but I am impressed and will be investing.
