I recently purchased a SBMM Ray5HH to build into a Billy Sheehan Attitude-adjacent bass (individual outputs, black hardware, etc.)
At this stage of the build, I want to swap the stock chrome hardware out for black. I know there are tons of manufacturers out there but it seems like the 16mm string spacing for the bridge is not too common. I have a feeling that whatever is the solution is going to require some drilling, etc. which is not that big of a deal. I'm just curious if anyone else has replaced the bridge and tuners.
For reference I was looking at the Hipshot 5 string bridges and ultralight tuning machines.
Any help would be appreciated.
