Hi,
Just bought a Sterling Cutlass CT 50. Love the Guitar!
Fantastic neck! But having a couple of issues.
The 5 way pickup switch has some dead spots.
At the far right position the signal goes dead? I’m getting ready to solo, move the switch…No Sound. This is a 3 week old guitar. So must be a bad batch of switches?
I have to move the switch to another position then back to get the guitar signal?
This happens in the two middle positions?
Also noticed that after playing the guitar, and put it away for the night.
The next morning no signal? I have to move the switch to get the signal back.
The other issue is the bridge screws dig into your palm.
Has anyone switched out the bridge screws to shorter ones?
If so, what are the exact size replacements.
There are too many bridge screw sizes!
Thanks in advance.

Open it up and see if a wire came loose, maybe? Also, email Customer Service. The EBMM peeps are the best!

Ended up replacing the 5 way with US made 5 way. More more dead spots.
PS, the tech said the actual switch was the problem, not loose wiring.

I have same issue, though probably not as bad as you. Mostly position 2 & 4 sometimes need to flick a couple of times to get middle pickup activated.. Thinking it's just dirty or bad contacts.. haven't opened up the pickguard yet. A bit disappointing if it's issue with the switch.
I also love the neck
