Sterling HH 4 string bass question

Hello, I am looking into buying a sterling HH 4 string bass, but will the pick up get in the way if I do slap? I have an sdgr right now with 2 pick ups and it gets in the way. But is it different on the sterling? (I know there's a sterling with 1 pick up but it doesn't come in the finish I want. )

Typically, yes. Those that have slapped with HH models say the neck H gets in the way. Go with an HS or single H

You just have to adjust your technique a bit. No problems slapping on my HH Sterlings.
