Ok, I did some forum searching, and came up short, so I'll just ask.
I know I want to buy a sterling asap. The problem is I don't know what kind I want. I play in a few bands, a jazz band, a sting orchestra, a big band, and a small rock group. Therefore I want the bass with he most versital sound possible. Do I go with the HH or the HS? OR... do I go with the H and then get the piezo? What can all of these options offer me? and which is most versital? And will the piezo give good tone a like an upright bass or what?
I've played the sterling h and love it, and I've played stingray H and HH. I was less impressed with the stingray HH as I thought I'd be. It was complicated to control and I thought it could have been a little more versital. Is the sterling the same. I always prefered the sterling to the Ray
I want to get it soon so I am shying away from special ordering it. I think I will buy from a local store or GC, or used online.
Thanks,
Mike
