I think you’ll be buying a real JP7. For the amount of 7 stringers being sold, I can’t see it being profitable.

Yeh Piezo on a 7 string is money, I would recomend finding one of those used, you'll never regret it!

I think it'd be cool.

The JP7 is the easiest 6-7 transition guitar on the market, IMO.

From what I've seen of the early NAAM previews a lot of companies are coming out with 7 string models this year, or expanding their existing 7 string lineup. I think 7s are really popular at the moment, and even 8s are starting to be somewhat more mainstream.

what would want to see? an exact rendering of the JP7 or take some liberties and do something different? how important is it to have a tremolo bridge?

would a hard tail work?

Just talking here. I am not making any promises. I would have to go before the committee and plead my case. Give me some ideas and I'll go pitch it to the big guys.

A jp would be cool, although another type of 7 string might throw some more diversity into the lineup. I like the idea of the tremolo on the seven string, but the option to have trem or hardtail would definitely have appeal.
