So Ive been toying around with my Sterling as I wait for it to sell. I played a gig last night and it halved the night with my SR5.

I played Sterlings on the road for a good 2 or 3 years before I started playing 5 string. I recorded my first "real" CD with a beautiful white sparkle Sterling, my first of two white sparkle Sterlings.

Playing the Sterling at home while practicing, and at last nights gig really took me back and reminded me of something.

I have been reminded of why the Sterling was my go to bass for so long. The necks on the Sterlings have to be the freakin sweetest necks ever put on a bass. The dang thing almost plays itself. Dont get me wrong, all of the EB basses play great, but I cant help but be blown away every time I pick up my Sterling.

Im really gonna miss this one when its gone.

Okay, here goes, I have to say it:

DON'T SELL IT, FOR THE SAKE OF ALL THAT'S HOLY!!!!

There. You just know someone was going there sooner or later...

As RE the Sterling, of course, every thing you say is true.

Sic Semper Sterling ;)

My guitarist friend tried my Sterling today and couldn't put the thing down! His comments were along the line of "Man... does this thing ever play well!".

I'm GASing way hard for a Sterling (yours is beautiful!!!) because I'm really thinking that my SR5 isn't for me (because of the fifth string). I think I'm a four-stringer kinda guy.
