All, I was thinking about changing the pickguard on my white sparkle sterling from this:

to a tort. Where do you all recommend getting a pickguard from?

Also, the case it came in has a few cracks and also is quite stinky - months of airing out, febreze and dryer sheets can't kill the funk - where can I get a new one?

Thanks all...

I'd definitely go factory for the guard, I bought a Sterling used and the WD guard on it had a very oversized hole for the pickup.

Factory all the way for a tort. I had a very bad customer service experience from WD when I was ordering a couple of clear pickguards. I purchased them from Chandler after getting my money back from WD and they were great. I believe the owner of WD is who I was speaking with and she argued that the Stingray 5 pickguard they sent me was actually for a Sterling bass and that it was the only pickguard style they had for a Sterling. No clue and no sale.

Thanks, guys - I figured that was the way to go. I'll talk to my dealer when I get home from San Diego...

OT - can anyone recommend a good place to go for live music in San Diego/La Jolla Wednesday or Thursday?
