i know leo fender designed the stingray, but did he design the sterling.
and is leo fender still alive.

nah, i think it was ernie ball who designed it, becuase of his son, Sterling Ball, or something on those lines

Sterling Ball designed the Sterling. Hey Derek &/or Jon , what else has Sterling designed? He helped with the SR5 too right? What about the Bongo and MM guitars?? Is there anything he doesn't do???
