Hey all. I just picked up a used Sterling 4H and the bridge has a good amount of rust on it. I tried cleaning it but it's still pretty rusty. Also, the screws that operate the saddles and the springs are in bad shape. They still work, but who knows for how long.

I was thinking of getting a new bridge for it. Any suggestions where to go and what I can expect to pay? EBMM Customer Service? Some other place like Stew Mac or AllParts?

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks

I guess the EBMM 800 number would be a good place to start. If you got a genuine replacement from them for sure it would fit right.

Rusty, huh? How does the rest of the bass look?

The rest of the bass is in great shape. The body is nice. The maple neck is not worn. The electronics are good. The bass is great, I'm just concerned about the saddle adjustments deciding to not work at some point.

I'm not concerned about the serial number being on the bridge. Though I don't know if it's a problem getting a new EBMM bridge because of this. Maybe I could just replace the screws and saddles?

AJ is awesome... I had a good talk with him the other day about the whole breaking the truss rod and setting up a Bongo.
