Yep my Sterling came today. It is a white sparkle that I picked up on Ebay. The chick failed to mention the nicks on the instrument. I will see what she says about this. It would be nice to get a few bucks back since she wasn't straight up about it but I doubt she will right the situation. The bass does however sound very sweet and is perfectly Lisa sized.

I will take some more pictures soon in the daylight.

First, nice toes.

Second, NICE bass. I had a white sparkle Sterling myself a long time ago and thought it was a fabulous instrument.

Can you get decent photos of the dings? Did the evilBay advert mention anything about them? Or was it more like "nearly perfect" or "8/10" or something else equally useless in actually determining the condition of the bass?

Bottom line - if you don't get some kickback, you still gonna be stoked?

More photos! Glad everything else is good with the bass, Lisa.

One is on the back of the lower horn, a little dent on the headstock, belt scratches on the back chrome plate and some staining on the back of the neck. Of course the stains are to be expected. I just know that when I sell something on Ebay I go out of my way to point out any flaw.

Funny, I guess I just wanted one of those basses that belonged to someone who had ten or more and hardly took it out of the case. This bass however has been played hard. That really is OK. Good sounding instruments need to get played hard.

Yep, it keeps the buyer informed and happy. I like them to be happy. Buying guitars should always be fun.

I am enjoying this bass nicks or no nicks!!!!!

And good for you - I do the same, but unfortunately, not everyone follows our lead.

Doesn't sound too bad, though. You can really perk up the back of that neck by light sanding and reapplying gunstock oil and wax. In fact, I'd highly recommend that you do it since there's no telling how long that neck has been without it.

Good sounding instruments need to get played hard.

Now you're talking.

Wonderful bass you got there Lisa regardless of the battle damage. Hope she brings you years of blessed bass bliss. And I hope you get to keep those toes as long as you need 'em.
