I’ve read the short Guitar Player article & Guitar World’s article as well. Good PR. As an owner of the AX40 I have to say the articles are right on the money.

Up here in Canada, they sell for about the same as the PRS SE line. This AX40 is an amazing guitar for the money. Anyone who might think that because its made overseas that it is an inferior axe is sadly misinformed.

I just love it and I highly recommend it.

It's amazing to me that these writers never mention the Subs....

I was packing up some maagzines and there was an issue with a review on the 1H and 2H SUB1 guitars in them, the review was favorable, of course. I wasn't able to find that one online, though.

Silo 20

I've been toying between the Silo 20 and HSS Mexican Standard Strat. Can't decide. Silo 20 looks sweet for the price.

I think I'm going to give the AX40 another try. I bought one when they first came out but sold it within a month. I had to decide between it and my Ibby S470. At the time I was messing around with a lot of Satriani and needed a full floating trem so I decided to keep the S470.

The problem, I just can't get over how comfy the neck on the AX40 is. Love, love, love that neck. Plus I found out that I really don't use the trem that much.

So now I'm in the same situation. I can't afford to keep both, I would have to sell the Ibby to pay for the AX. I think I'm going to wait until the blue ones start shipping and then order one. I'll spend some more time with it next to the Ibby and see how I like it.
