Sterling vs Thumb vs Mustang = Little Phatty

My recently aquired Warwick Thumb BO just couldn't hold its own against my Sterling HS and even my lowly Fender Mustang. So it had to go. I traded it in on a new Moog Little Phatty Stage II. Wow, between my Sterling and the Moog, I've got my basses covered.

i got a sterling and a Little Phatty too. the LP sounds huge in my bass amp and it's so much fun to play and program.

both are amazing instruments and they both want a new brother.....bongo.

It's right and left handed ;-) I can also play it with my Sterling plugged in (at least I think I can.)

It's got a really nasty analog growl to it. I have to use headphones to hear the lowest notes. My bass amp just doesn't reproduce the really low tones. It will never replace my Sterling, but it is sure fun. I'm working on learning Frankenstein. FYI, the build quality is very high on it. I got GC to knock of 10% and to throw in some Sennheiser headphones, so I didn't take much beating on the Warwick trade-in.

I'll tell you that it was hard to want to play the Warwick when I had the Sterling. The Sterling (and I would imagine the Stingray/Bongo too) has got to be one of the best playing, best crafted basses around.
