I had mentioned that I like learning as much as I can about a companies history( though i am only a 2 company man) and music history in general. Well tonight I stumbled on Sterlings blogs on the MM homepage and besides a great company schooling there are some truly amazing inside stories BP tells that had me glued to the screen and my eyes blurry, so I saved some for tomorrow. I am sure a lot of you guys read them but for those who did not there is a treasure chest of some great stuff. My personal favorite so far was (OK,So I am a slug at blogging) but they were all great. By the way Sterling you said to remind you of McCartney- I am dying to here that.

Something else I just learned that was in an article about guitar strings in the new issue of Guitar Aficionado,- (The Ernie Ball company is responsible for making most guitarist aware of alternative string gauges during the early sixties. It was the first company to offer lighter-gauge string sets with unwound G strings, which it marketed as the Slinky line. Ernie Ball also sold strings individually, in a variety of gauges, enabling players to create there own custom sets. British guitarist like Eric Clapton, Keith Richards, and Jimmy Page started using Ernie Ball Slinky strings during the late sixties, as did Jimi Hendrix.)

Well I have to say I had a (Ball) tonight on the forum.lol

Totally- they're great reads. And having had the pleasure of hearing Sterling tell some of his stories at the various EB hosted parties, I can say they're even better in person.
