So now that I'm FINALLY in a band again I get to dust off the 4x10 cab and the SVT Classic and play nice n loud :) ... and now that i'm finally in the swing again I've been reminded just how bad ass a bass the Sterling is.

It took me a couple days to find the little card where'd i wrote down the SVT's EQ settings for each of my basses so things were a bit "different" than I remembered but after I found that thing the Sterling started taking names.

I just wanted to rave about this bass and thank BP for the best bass ever made! Now ive got about 5 weeks or so to decide on a color for my 2 PUP model :)

Hey I love "your baby." It's only the second bass that ever really "bit" me when I first noodled one in a store. The first was a Kubicki. Unfortunately, when I finally got a Kubicki, I found I really didn't like it. Five years later I replaced it with a Sterling and I still love it dearly.

I await the 2-pupper Sterling with great anticipation, but also some trepidation. More options tone wise? That's good I guess. But there's something to be said for simplicity too.

I still wish it had an active/passive swith though :)

I think a 2 pup sterling is gonna be weird :bawl: I might want one massively though, sterling tone with perhaps a little more booty? mmm
