Spot the bum note in the solo near the end at 2:29, ouch! He's human after all, there's hope for us all yet! Love his work.

Thanks for posting that!! When I saw Henley he played Hotel Cali as the encore ... and it sounded exactly like the album, I mean exact. It gave me chills and brought a tear in my eye to be honest ... it was so beautiful ... the thunderous audience response caused yet another encore ... a magic night for sure.

is that not the very thing that is wrong with the Eagles though? I mean i love them as much as the next person and i've seen them several times but i refuse to go back to see them live again because they sound just like their records!

I like to go see a band who puts on a show and has alternative live versions of some of their songs.
