Can someone help me find those pics of him with that Engl? I know I saw them here somewhere before but I can't remember where! Thanks!

I never heard of any Engl reliability issues at all. I've never had a problem with any of mine...

Mine was terrible! UK support was no existant when the output transformer failed after 3 months on a brand new £1600 combo. I am sure Steve will receive 'Rock Star' service, unlike EBMM who gives that kind of service to everyone!

I hope Steve's Engl is more reliable than the one I had!

so does steve.....

the one steve actually has (which was not at s.l.o.) has the tone controls shelved differently........
things still very much in the trial mode w/ amps...
i don't know any more than this though......
i'm guessing the next purple tour will be the acid test.......

I´m sorry to hear that the foreign service is not good.
I´m working with ENGL for now 17years and they are the best. I´ve never had a problem with their amps except a customer mismatches the speaker impedance or a worn out jack.
Sorry to hear because these are great amps and much flexable.
The Poweramps are great too. Try them
