BFR are still in production but as this Ball Family Reserve it can change at any time so nothing is written in stone for the next year ....

BFR Tobacco Burst Axis may be a regular Axis with a BFR Solid Rosewood neck. Tobacco burst was offered on both the regular and bfr versions. Since you say the finish on the neck is different it is probably a Rosewood neck, which is super cool and were only offered to order for 30 days, but cost about the same as a normal axis.

I can only second Colin's recommendation...the pictures speak for themselves and on top of the looks you get a monster of a guitar...perfectly balanced and with a huge range of great tones.

Slingy - you'r correct. the one i tried has a rosewood neck. do u know if this neck requires different care to the others?
Walleye - thanks for the suggestion. the 25th is really great, but i just dont feel that it's for me...
