Hi,

my first post.
I was in charge for that clinic from Soundland Fellbach.

That second guitar is a prototype Tommy brought with him.
It's an attempt to duplicate No.1.

I will post pictures on our homepage soon and post a link here.

One great thing was that we had 3 Signature guitars sold to
our customers in a VIP-Package.

Steve signed them before the clinic and Tommy managed that Steve
played them all during the Purple show that evenning.
He's a great guy.

It's interesting to mention that Tommy set them up one day before the
show.
He did only minimal adjustments. They where almost as they came from
the factory when Steve played them on stage.

Since the signatures of Steve are all on the upper cutaway the buyers
could see their guitar played by Steve very prominentaly on the
large video screens in the venue.

More signature you couldn't get.

Greetings from Germany

thanks i´ll give it a try.
for me marillion died in 1988 after fish left the band. the first four albums were awesome, but i couldn´t get into the first album with steve h. and so i never listened to material with steve again.

sorry for OT!

Yeah, Steve Rothery has um...expanded over the years ;) Still, he is a great guitarist and I second that you listen to "Marbles"... an utterly amazing album.

Thks for the link Banjo. I need to get to one of these clinics too. This one looked very professionally organised with the setup and big screens etc.

Cheers
