Sjeez,

now that's absolutely brilliant. You guys outdone yourselves once more. I'm even more thrilled now to get my hands on the Y2D I ordered. Especially the story on the binding having the same curve as number 1 has, is really impressive, way to go Dudley.

And, yes, in video 3, the thingy Steve starts playing when BP is sitting next to him with the guitar on his lap is indeed a part of well-dressed guitar (he plays it on different guitars in the end). Also, the 'Sometimes I feel like screaming' parts he does, clearly show how wrong a lot of tablatures are...

Awesome and way to go,

long live EB and Steve Morse.

Cheers, T.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! You guys never cease to amaze me. Excellent!! This is great, the interaction with the artist and the new site dedicated to a single instrument.

Class all the way.

Man!!!!!!! That is AWESOME!!!!!!!!!! Did you guys notice that in the second video, BP is holding a Y2D with creme pups and then a while later they pan back and pups are black. Was that a second take or did BP do a switcheroo on us? I have one question, in the third video when SM is playing he gets some violin/ organ type sounds. Was this a pickup combo, playing technique or a effect he was using? Thanks EB!!!!!!!!!!

He was doing volume swells with his pinky finger on the knob .. couldn't quite catch all the pickup switches ... I often wondered if he actually used all those pickups and knobs on those guitars...

As for the guitar, what can I say.... It sounds as great as it looks. I have to find more Steve Morse now .. I've heard some of his stuff, but now I'm really interested.

Absolutely fantastic! I didn't have time to sit down and watch the videos until this morning, but now I have and I immediately want to watch them again - an intimate look at Steve's #1 and Dudley's latest and greatest, followed up by a private Morse riff concert; this totally made my morning!!

THANKS GUYS!!

Wow thanks for the vids! Can't wait to see the final product.

And then in the middle of it all you have BP sneaking in a headstock wiggle with a devilish grin as Steve is trying to show how well balanced the guitar is. Classic :D

What are the chances of getting some of Steve's blood, say for the inlays...oh wait a sec, I think someone else is doing something similar

I'll say it again...holy frijole.

One question...BP commented on how Steve's guitar has quite a bit of playing wear, and how that's cool, and I agree with that. Was that particular guitar poly coated or nitro? I thought it was almost impossible to wear a poly coat like that.

The video of Steve playing makes me want to practice. Holy frijole.

Sweet! Thanks Big Poppa and all of y'all at EB ... you guys really are the best!

Like the picture on the left of Steve with the flamed Y2D and purple pickups! Notice there's no toggle switch anymore ... ?

I saw one of the Dregs / SMB shows where he played in a cast. He is certianly a braver man than I.

Anyone else have trouble with the audio/video? The play/pause buttons seem to work, but I'm seeing/hearing nada.

I had trouble with the audio stopping partway through, and not coming back even upon reloading the webpage.

I closed mozilla, opened IE, and my ears were happy :D

Flash Video is a wee bit problematic. Works on both players though, but it doesn't recover too well from a stall.

I've just saved the .flv files on my hard drive; gonna try and covert 'em to something else that I can play back when I get anxious about the Y2D. (Like every 5 minutes or so ...)
