So, yeah. I went to see Steve and Dave LaRue play at the Iridium Jazz Club in NYC a while back. Steve supposedly had a prototype for the Morse 25th Anniversary (seen in the background of the pic below).

Any news/progress on that? Just curious. Didn't find anything searching the forum. Then again, maybe there hasn't been any news.

Perhaps, I'm getting a little ahead of myself. I've only just ordered a 2012 PDN Y2D this year--my first Morse of any kind despite lusting after the Y2D since I tried it when it was newly released. :D

It would be awesome to see the Blackburst Y2D with a roasted neck chambered :D. So want that guitar!!! But I do remember seeing that one off that is in the pic above. That is a solid blue color and I think it also had a crazy neck...maybe roasted if I recall?

I doubt this will see the light of day as Tommy said the chambered is not working fine for SM

There have been a whole bunch of prototypes, Steve's always trying stuff. I remember seeing a proto in "Navajo blue" a while back ... that's what that colour looks like.

No, that one in the picture was a new guitar--not a Y2D prototype. Pete was helping Tommy and Steve out that night. My buddy James and I were able to see the guitar up close.

Yeah. I figured there wasn't anything more than a lot of prototyping like EBMM and their artists do all the time. I figured I'd ask in case there had been any news that I missed.

Would be awesome if they release a 2.5 anniversary mode. I mean, JP is releasing new models every year with different specs and colors. But never the less, this neck looks awesome!
