Welcome to the forum.
Yes, the arms are removable in all versions.
Pre June 2011 versions require more effort & 2 hex keys to remove;
1.5mm for arm holder(loosens collar)
2.5 mm for arm screw which threads into the trem arm.
Post 2011 arms snap in, you might need to loosen the arm drag screw(1.5mm)located on the back of the block
