It's sort of like a barritone guitar. 6 strings, and this one is tuned B to B

That is too cool - a free Steve Morse concert , I would just like him to play around my area with his own band instead of Deep Purple.

Speaking of which , they will be back around Toronto in July again. I'll take what I can get.

Hey Guys,
we worked into the night on the new Steve Morse guitar. We filmed a bunch of it for the web and you loyalists. There is a pretty good scene that I hope comes out. My cell phone rings during the filming and it's Luke checking in...I put him on the speaker phone and he and Steve share some humourous moments.

I am really excited about this new guitar. We were really able to define and refine. There will be a suprising change that I will torture you guys by not telling you until we evaluate it further.

Evan Ball, my nephew is getting married on Saturday and I will get a chance to play it live, I will post a follow up. The band is a pretty good wedding band Luke, Cliff Hugo, Craig Copeland, John Ferraro, Jim Cox,Sherwood Ball and Big Poppa.

By the way I dropped Steve off at the San Luis Obispo airport at 5:30 this morning and he called me an hour later America West (worst) Cancelled his flight and rebooked him on a 9:00 pm flight. America West is an unfriendly airline and especially to guitar players with gig bags. Good news for EB as we get to work some more on the new beast.

Nice! Very glad you got video of the session- that's a great asset to the site (watched the Petrucci one many times).

This ... is going to kill us ... I for one can't take the waiting ...

(I'm guessing the change rhymes with "4th mickup")

Thanks Big Poppa!

answer: No where but EB!!!

Big Poppa,

Wow, thanks for pulling us into the loop! I'm sure the new Morse model will be incredible.

I'm guessing that the mystery change is a maple fingerboard.
