<div class="bbWrapper">Just a quick one - saw Billy Idol at the House of Blues in Orlando last Tuesday and Steve Stevens wailed - he killed and mauled - that guy can seriously play. I've waited years to see him live. Just for you guys, he ripped into a stunning yellow Axis - played through Peavey 5150 Mk2s his sound was awesome - encore was Jump - worth seeing if you get a chance... <img src="https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/joypixels/assets/8.0/png/unicode/64/1f642.png" class="smilie smilie--emoji" loading="lazy" width="64" height="64" alt=":)" title="Smile :)" data-smilie="1"data-shortname=":)" /></div>
<div class="bbWrapper">Oh yah he's got a couple of Axes. I got into his playing in the 90's and I'd love to see him play live.<br />
<br />
Check out his collection.<br />

Weather sucked and my nephew didn't feel like being on the road to Delaware... I told him I was driving, but he still wasn't up for the road trip. We'll catch you next time you play at the Cat's Eye... Or maybe me and my wife will make the trip. She was really interested in hearing that band play...<br />

I figure I've got a receipt showing that it's paid in full... I had Steve sign it when he was in town last month. I don't know why she decided to call, but I guess I appreciate the update.<br />

</blockquote>้ำ็ำHe's playing an incredibly well re-arranged "Do You hear what I hear?" on Merry Axemas Vol.2 as well.</div>
<div class="bbWrapper">I remember Billy Idol with Steve Stevens playing at our Rugby League Grand Final here in Australia awhile back. Well they didn't actually play somebody forgot to switch Steves Marshalls from 120v to 240v. The power flipped and they didn't play. All on live television of course.<br />

<div class="bbWrapper">Steve also did some great playing on his "Steve Stevens' Atomic Playboys" album.<br />
I remember seeing him on TV when I was a teenager, he was playing with Idol and doing all his footpedal delay-based sound effects... really cool. His playing was so effortless, too...<br />

I'm afraid that was just a sign of the times - the 80s were great for cheesey lyrics and amazing guitar. In all fairness, if you listen to most of the early VH albums, the lyrics are not exactly on a par with Dream Theater, but EVH is frighteningly good.<br />
BTW, what does "halarious" mean? Something similar to hilarious I reckon... <img src="https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/joypixels/assets/8.0/png/unicode/64/1f642.png" class="smilie smilie--emoji" loading="lazy" width="64" height="64" alt=":)" title="Smile :)" data-smilie="1"data-shortname=":)" /></div>
