<div class="bbWrapper">Just a quick one - saw Billy Idol at the House of Blues in Orlando last Tuesday and Steve Stevens wailed - he killed and mauled - that guy can seriously play. I&#039;ve waited years to see him live. Just for you guys, he ripped into a stunning yellow Axis - played through Peavey 5150 Mk2s his sound was awesome - encore was Jump - worth seeing if you get a chance... <img src="https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/joypixels/assets/8.0/png/unicode/64/1f642.png" class="smilie smilie--emoji" loading="lazy" width="64" height="64" alt=":)" title="Smile :)" data-smilie="1"data-shortname=":)" /></div>

I told him I was driving, but he still wasn&#039;t up for the road trip. We&#039;ll catch you next time you play at the Cat&#039;s Eye... Or maybe me and my wife will make the trip. She was really interested in hearing that band play...<br /> <br /> fred</div>

<div class="bbWrapper">I remember Billy Idol with Steve Stevens playing at our Rugby League Grand Final here in Australia awhile back. Well they didn&#039;t actually play somebody forgot to switch Steves Marshalls from 120v to 240v. The power flipped and they didn&#039;t play. All on live television of course.<br /> <br /> Colin</div>

<div class="bbWrapper">Steve also did some great playing on his &quot;Steve Stevens&#039; Atomic Playboys&quot; album.<br /> I remember seeing him on TV when I was a teenager, he was playing with Idol and doing all his footpedal delay-based sound effects... really cool. His playing was so effortless, too...<br /> <br /> Another dude who should be rolling in dough and a hosuehold name..<br /> <br /> You&#039;ll notice that Billy Idol never amounted to squat without him!</div>

In all fairness, if you listen to most of the early VH albums, the lyrics are not exactly on a par with Dream Theater, but EVH is frighteningly good.<br /> BTW, what does &quot;halarious&quot; mean? Something similar to hilarious I reckon... <img src="https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/joypixels/assets/8.0/png/unicode/64/1f642.png" class="smilie smilie--emoji" loading="lazy" width="64" height="64" alt=":)" title="Smile :)" data-smilie="1"data-shortname=":)" /></div>
