As some of you know, I just joined the boards a couple weeks ago after buying the SR5 HH Guitar Center 45th anniversary bass. I LOVE it! Haven't picked up my '93 Fender Jazz since. Anyway, I am still trying to figure out some of the details:

How many were made?
Is it a limited run?
What's really so unique about it (the paint job)?
Did the Guitar Center sales guy snow me? I woulda bought her anyway...
Was there a second shooter on the grassy knoll?

I have looked all over the interwebs and can't find anything other that the string on this forum!

Just curious,
Peace

Thank you so much for the direct response, Mr. Ball. It is a beauty and a joy to play. My first MM and I'm sure not my last! (maybe it's time to put one of fenders on eBay...)
