I use the Hipshot Drop D on all my EBMM basses...even the 5 strings.

They can build one for your Stingray Special...it's an adaptation of the Bongo Lightweight Tuner
(I sent them my key...it was a 1 week turn around)

Just sharing for the Bass Brothers that may be interested in extending Da Range.

I'm guessing the Special tuners aren't available separately from MM yet, but once they are Hipshot will hopefully offer this ready made. It's great that they will build one for you anyway.
