The balls in your court cellkirk ( I hope it stays there too ) started with me,
then bulltrout, and now you. Definitely has seen the world in it's young life,
USA, Canada and now Germany.

Finally i had some time to seriously play that beast today after having no time and beeing off for work for nearly 3 days and bp is right: The look is pure understatement for the really huge tone it produces.
The neck plays like a dream. I took some time to propperly adjust the PUs and now it has a distinct punch in any setting. I am very happy...
Each of my EBMM Basses produces its own unique tones and i do not think any of them will leave me in the near future.
A question to you rosewoodneck-owners: how does the sound change with pure steel strings? Too much?
Am i right when i think i should go with a set of regular slinkys for a little more tension on the b-string?

Just out of interest, what did you do to the pick-ups? I thought they kicked like a mule already, and any more punch and I would have had holes in my walls. Glad to hear you're loving it - if I could find that bass in four string, I'd be all over it.

I adjusted the neck and the strings new, a little more bow and a little higher action on the low strings, a little lower at D and G.
I raised the neckpickup a little bit to make it sound as full as possible when it is soloed and made both PUs just fit to the changed string heights. Those were no big changes, but a little turn with the screwdriver has a lot of effect there.
MEssing a little with neck and pus is something i always do when i get a new bass, just to see what i can do...
