Hey, when you geniuses finish with the Chinese jokes, can we move on to some good Mexican, Black and Jewish jokes next?

Two other dead giveaways are that the pickups look wrong and are in the wrong location on the body for a HH. They're to close together. And it's passive.

You gotta laugh at the spelling in the header listing "Music- man Ernie ball 5 string Ray eletric bass".

Apparently it's a Stringray eletric bass.

Looks pretty cheap.

Wow, that is one of the worst burst finishes I have seen in a while. It is a shame that an unknowing person might get taken by something like this.

WOW thats pretty bad, there is an article in December 09 issue of Premier Guitar talking about the counterfieting business, especially in China and the company in the link is one of the worst, all I can say is scumbags.

Very interesting article. I never realized counterfeit guitars was big business! You always see fake designer watches, purses, shoes, clothes, jewelry, etc, but never thought musical instruments were a hot counterfeit commodity.

Still can't understand why those people wouldn't just admit they're fakes\copies and sell them as such. They'd probably still sell as many to the average consumer.

I lived in Ecuador for 6 years... believe it or not. Great country.

Nothing like sitting around the campfire, sharing Ecuadorian jokes.

Well, I lived in Peru for five years, so I know we both know the same jokes, only you have to change the nationality.

Kind of like living in Miami. I had Puerto Rican friends and Cuban friends and I'd hear the same jokes, only they'd replace one country of origin with the other!

Isn´t it illegal to have Cuban friends in USA....?

"This guitar is of the finest quality, and yet it is only a fraction of the cost that you would normally pay. You may be wondering how such an amazing product could be so cheap, It is possible because it has been manufactured in china, where labour is cheap. Cheap labour does not mean that quality has been compromised; all parts are of the highest quality and have been imported from overseas."

But yet the 'Rickenbacker' bass clearly says Made in USA.

Well the 'rickenbocker' with the jazz pickups might be cool.
;P
Seriously I can't believe the balls they have to not only copy the brand names and models but to put "made in USA" and "made in SLO" on the basses.

On further reading of their site it claims they get their hardware from Korea. Interesting. There are what, 2 major guitar makers in Korea? I wonder if this somehow traces back to Samick?

Wonder if they have it in olive gold...

I think you can only play Chinese pop songs on these fake balls (nothing worse than fake balls.) Is there such a thing as a Chinese pop song?
