do not want to leave you guys hanging....We did not paint these babies!

Although we did build them, Brad Paisley's bassist Kenny Lewis had them redone by Bill Crook who does all of Brad's Teles. Bill still works out of West Virginia where BP is from.

I thought they were cool, so we decided to share.

Thanks Derek. They look great, but I figured that if you guys had done them the control plates would have been on the back and not the front.

Can I have that one? She already has one and she hardly ever plays it.

PLEASE?}

ya know that gives us a good idea! I have to check but we may still have one body left from the Sheryl Crow run back in 1998....Yes its been 10 years ago.

We may have to use up that last body and auction off for CLB.....Could raise a nice tidy sum since that bass was very usual. I think we went to 6 or 8 upholstery shops to get the right patterns. Can any one dig up a photo of her and that bass??

We made her 2 basses each with a different motif...

Look familiar, Derek?

yep that's her! We glued on the upholstery up to where the ornamental piping is and then glued on the red velvet backing...We routed a little channel around body to glue the rope(piping) and separate the two cloths...I remember another body blank with the channel route on the body. I need to see if we still have it.
