Help! StingRay '88 Mid knob problem

Hi!
I have EBMM StingRay '88 which have quite used electronics, i changed all wires and cleaned pots already. Well, technician did for my money
But i still have problem with bad working mid pot. Everything is OK is ok if it turned to max boost, but in middle and all cut some closing appeared in the pot. If i push it a little i here scratches.. mid range appear and disappear... Sorry for my english, by the way...
I think the pot needs to be replaced.
Can Ernie Ball provide me new pot for vintage '88 StingRay? Or I better buy a new preamp?

sounds like the pot should have been changed, not just cleaned.
