Question stingray and bongo settings for quick changes

another option might be to look at one of the preamp pedals that can save multiple settings. I have a Sansamp Bass Driver Programmable, and I have it set up with three settings to work with different basses.
 
You could also try changing right hand position where you are striking the strings... it makes a big difference in tone on any bass, but especially so on a bongo.
 
After a few more gigs you will have the changes needed, memorized. I had the same problem at first also.
 
I have a lot of good advice and i can look into all these points i was unaware of . keko,s idea and the sansamp both will be looked at down the track . Right now ill raise the p/up back to where it was and dial it so as to get a same overall sound on 4 strings for starters . Gotta lose the phasing im getting on the G . Start from scratch and it will hit home after a few gigs . Funny though : i found the sound with the SR4 as soon as i bought it , and have had those settings and kept them ever since .

My amp has sharpie marks above every knob on it for what I want for sound. Only I can decode them but only I turn the knobs on my amp.
