Hello my dear Music Man Friends,
I've noticed through many emails some of you have asked me if Big Poppa would ever consider a 1 or 2 pickup Stingray with a slimmer neck, As most of you know i don't work for Music Man even though i should, lol but Yes that would be cool and maybe if there was a big enough demand it one day could be a reality ,as you all know it's a supply demand kind of thing,

Anyway Thank You all for all the Personal Emails and Questions on the greatest bass ever, Yes the EB stingray.

PS: Im glad i have convinced you Bobby to try a Bongo, I knew you'd love it and im glad you bought one, i'm sure we'll see your sabre on Ebay soon, lol

If one would prefer the sound and/or look of the Stingray it would be worth it for that person.

+1. I know a couple guys that would jump all over a StingRay with a Sterling neck.

Maybe theres enough demand that it could be an option to purchase a Ray with a Sterling neck.

i think that it would probably end up being more of a "pick your body, pick your neck, pick your electronics" type of deal, and that plus all the colors would turn it into too much of a custom shop production

and soon it turns into Carvin.

I have to disagree. Im not talking about pick all your options. Im merely talking about a Sterling (sized) neck being an option on a StingRay order, like pickguard color, of fretboard wood is an option.

Thats not too confusing. And Im not even really concerned in this being an option. I prefer a larger neck (ie;StingRay sized) anyway.

Thats one option.

As I recall, this was an option on Stingrays at one point.
