Don't forget to post pics! Of the bass and your initial reaction when first opening that case.

I'm looking forward to seeing this...

Congrats!

Oh, and in June, I'll possibly have the finances to take one of the Dargies' out of your hands... :)

PS: Depends also on how much Caca de Kick really wants to get that SR4HHDD blank plank... ;)

This company and the instruments are a cut above the rest, even it you prefer something different you can't deny the quality of these instruments.

<the soon to have 11 EBMM basses>

I Must Agree, I have a few of these basses and I will say, There's nothing better on this Planet. So enjoy the best Basses Made.

Hi all, I just joined the EB forums just to rave about a couple of Music Man basses I just tried out at the music store. The 25th Anniversary "triple pickup" 4 and 5 string basses are incredible. I've been playing bass for close to 40 years now and have owned vintage 50's Fender basses, all the way up to some 70's models. Various other basses including a decent LAG 6 string. I'm currently playing my well worn 85' G&L L2000E in a part time band and am generally still happy with it but if I was still a young full time musician and could afford a new instrument it would surely be one of these Music Man 25th anniversary model basses. EXCELLENT sound and playability. Just thought I'd pass on the thumbs up to the people that designed and crafted these beauties!

Stumbled across this thread while Googling the redwood BFR Ray. I played a party last weekend, and this guy comes up to me and says, "I hear you like to collect basses". True, although I usually don't keep them long. LOL. Anyway, he says he has a cool bass to show me. It was a redwood Single H in pristine condition. DROOL. Man, what a beauty! I plunked on it a bit by his car, it felt great. He's looking to get $2600, which I'm sure isn't unreasonable, but out of my range at the moment. Plus, it's not a five string. :/
