Stingray Guitar Pickup Selector

Hey,
Bought a 2019 stingray in pristine condition, love it but one small matter not crazy about, when selecting middle position of pickup switch there is quite a noticeable volume drop. I supposed this is just like volume toggle switch switching bridge pickup to single pole duty ? Can that volume level be brought up any by height adjustment on the 2 pickups ?

The "volume drop" is due to phase cancellation between the two pickups, which happens in the middle position with just about any guitar when you combine two pickups in parallel.
