It ain't right in the head...stock. You can even see the edge of the stickers.

A good one for Davtran and the "What's wrong with this 'Ray?" posts.

On that note, what is wrong with this (ahem) "StingRay"?

Overall summary....

POS!

I told the guy to alter the description...and all the EBMM bumpf he's nabbed from this site.

Mmmmm, actually, now I know he's scamming. If it was a bona-fide "I don't what I've got", surely he wouldn't have bothered with all that schpeil....

It's the sort of thing that happens when you buy one of these...

...then add one of these...

At least he has now added to the description that he has been informed that it is NOT an original Stingray. Must be why the current bid is £5.50 :) Not a bad price, ha-ha.

Not really good enough though. The way it stands, the title is misleading and the description is almost entirely fictional. Shaller BMs? Six bolt, oiled neck? Active preamp? Musicman humbucker?

To be fair, I think the seller probably thought it was genuine when he posted it.

At a Glance, the guitar looks in excellent condition due to high gloss lacquer of the plank, tho on closer scrutiny; there are several fine scratches on the back, a small dent on the side, on the bottom of the plank; the original lacquer has been damaged n repaired poorly.

Plank?

If it is indeed a Vintage copy, how can they get away with the trade-mark infringing graphics on the headstock? Also I'm sure it wasn't made in SLO.

Edit - I've just noticed that he's ended it early - legal pressure?
