Question Stingray in 2018

After waiting 13 months for my first EBMM Sterling to arrive. I finally got it 3 weeks ago and it is just amazing.

So I decided to let go one of my basses to found another EBMM.

To my surprise, the clerk told me that they just received the listing for 2018 and in it no one can order a left handed Stingray 5.

After seeing them avalaible for so long for lefties ... it is finally over ? once I have the hability to buy one ?

It's the first year of production for the new revamped stingray and stingray 5, so they haven't been made available in left-handed. Other basses are still available as lefties.
 
The only left handed basses EBMM now makes or at least for now, in 2018 is the Ernie Ball/Music Man Sterling basses (Not to be confused with the overseas made Sterling by Music Man basses and guitars.)

I'm looking for a used 4HH but none to be found.

Yes it is my first single pickup bass and it is fine. The switch help getting a different tone and of course technic and the active preamp.

I'm the kind of guy that set a tone that work for the session and keep it.
 
Does anyone have news about lefties in the future? I'm interested in those new lightweight Stingrays. I would have ordered one since Burnt Apple is one of my favorite finishes ever. I remember (being a poor student) drooling over the finish when it was a regular finish some years ago. I'd love a lefty lightweight Stingray in that color.
 
I would assume lefties will arrive should the new stingray special become a success. We'll have to wait and see. Unfortunately the lefty market is quite a bit less than the "standard" configuration.
