Was just watching this episode haha, Homer's grunge band. The bass Carl's playing looks like a Classic. Kinda makes me GAS for one.

Wow, I saw that show a year or two ago and didn't notice at all. Sure looks like a two-band 'Ray.

And he doesn't even have it plugged in.

Hahahaha! I love that episode. Every bad '90's cliche, all at once!

There are numerous times in The Simpsons where they show a band and the bassist is playing something that looks close to a Stingray. Remember that episode where every eight years, some guy films Homer and Marge? At the end of the episode, you can see a red bass on a stand that looks like a Stingray.

I remember that and missed the ray because I was looking at homers mustang style guitar

There's also another episode with snakes and barry white and i think lisa is playing a bass (not a sax) but i can't remember if its a stingray or not

Lisas's bass in the Barry White snake episode is like the original version of the P bass, or a Tele bass.
