The First Annual Bass Player Magazine's Readers' Choice Awards are out and the StingRay 4 was named "Best Bass Between $700 and $1,500." It's on page 47 of the May 2008 issue.
They called it "tried and true." I never realized the StingRay had "big-boned tone."
