Hi guys,

I have a Black Stringray with a tort pickguard. I have been thinking about changing the pickguard to either Black or Pearloid. Would you foks mind posting pics that have either combination?

I love pearloid, but wonder if it work for black w/ matching and rosewood. I definitely think a Black pickguard would look good. I guess I could always leave it alone too.... I just think I would like to try something different.

Here is the bass as it exists today.

and you would change the look of that bass because...???

well, i guess there are days that even Angelina thinks she's not all that, but then quickly realizes that yes, she is all that. :D

yes, I'm biased to Tort, it's the best, but with that said the new Gold Swirl looks funky as well as Orange Swirl just cuz it's so wacky!

I think tort looks the best on black. After that my choices would be abalone, white pearloid, black pearloid. I find black on black to be a little bland.

Tort's almost my first choice and I think it works well on that bass.

Black pearl looks great too and I'd also guess a white pearl would great as well, standing out nicely against the black body and rosewood board. The black also works, kinda stealthy.
