Searched back a few years worth of posts and thought a poll might be of interest.
With a non-active bass, many prefer SS roundwounds to get some of that whirry growl going; since we (the chosen ones) have modern pups & enough EQ to sink a battle ship, brightness, growl, & whir is not an issue (IMO)
So, if you Rock or Groove a Ray with rounds are you using Nickel or SS?
