I bought a SBMM Stingray a couple of months ago and even though I like it I found the pickups to be a little weird. They sound like really fat single coils but dont have that characteristic sound of humbuckers.
I couldnt find much information on how they are built.
Has anybody experienced this? I wondered if its just a SBMM thing or if the original EBMM sounds like that as well.
Will adjusting the pole pieces screw change anything?
