Hey,

i just bought a second hand stingray 3way eq with piezo pickups, immaculate condition,. anyway, i have noticed that the humbucker is alot quiter then the piezo pickups. Just wondering if thats normal or not???

Also, compared to my G&L L5500, the stingray is heaps quieter overall. and i know that stingray's are meant to have alot of punch.
(I am extremely happy with the tone by the way... love it)

Also the serial number is E11940. anyone know its birthdate???

Hi...another Ausie!!!...welcome.

Re serial....perhaps Jan/Feb 2000...Derek will know.

I think the overall piezo vol has a master vol adjustment...if you go into the EB website, you'll find the piezo layout.

Cheers :)

Rhys,

The birthdate is 01/00 . Gav always go with your
first choice.

Because the bass has been around
for a couple of years, some previous owner may have ajusted the trim pot to suite their playing style. The magnetic pickup and piezo system should be similar in output level. You are more than welcome to e-mail our tech([email protected]) for ongoing advice when adjusting your piezo system.

Thanks

Derek
