I have just bought a Stingray 4H with an SLO neck. Need feed back from others with the same combo.

I don't own one, but I played a few. Felt great but I prefer the slightly chunkier neck of the stingray. Pics please....

I just bought a 2010 Stingray SLO special and also found a 1994 Stingray at a pawn shop. The 1994 Stingray needed a little TLC, so I brought it back to life and boy did it come back to life. Didn't touch the electronics, just the hardware and it has soooooooo much mojo in it. It has lows from down under but the notes are very defined. Has several war wounds but it adds character. The new Stingray sound different from the old one but never the less beautiful. The new one doesn't have mojo and its very lite sounding. What gives?

Both are 3 band EQ. and the Pickup on the older one has rust on the poles and it still sounds awesome.

No really, its weird. The pick up with the rusted poles sounds outstanding. So much fullness yet clarity in every note. But the 2010 4H, its thin. It may be going out on the block.
