Stingray with Modern Tremolo - Has anyone floated theirs?

Hi all, just wondering if anyone has set up their Stingray bridge to float. MIne came from the factory decked so I was just wondering if this was the ideal setup. I didn't see anything in the FAQ regarding the setup of this trem. Thanks.

Ideal? Only if that's what you prefer. I typically do, but it's easy enough to experiment. Just loosen the screws on the Trem claw (or remove a spring, though that also changes the overall feel) and retune... and retune... and retune...

I floated my St V just the other day. Probably going back to decked, but it's kinda fun.

Any bridge can be set to float. It's all good. I've floated my Silo Special and my Cutlass. They look like this...
