I have a EB MM SR5 bass that I love and it goes out with me often.

I would like to have slotted bridge saddles similar in style to vintage/USmade Fender instruments where I would be able to experiment with the string spacing a bit. My string spacing favors (slightly) the Bstring side of the neck and I'd like to have the option to 'tweek' it a bit.

I once emailed customer service and the response was that something like that is not available. It certainly has to be somewhere or maybe can be made available?

Maybe someone here has had a similar experience?

Did you try Fender customer service?

No, I didn't. My Stingray has a different bridge and different hardware than my Fender bass. They're not exactly the same as you probably know. The bridge saddle adj. screw is a bit 'beefier' on the MM as compared to the Fender hardware. I just want to know where/(if?) I can find bridge saddles such as I had described in my earlier post.

I reckon I could "manufacture" something that would give me the results that I'm after, but I thought that I might not be the only one who has ever thought that I could improve on this design. Maybe I am the only one?

I would guess that there is something out there that would work, but we have never made saddles like that. If there is something that would work, I am sure one of our forumites has seen it. Good Luck.
