Hey guys. Just got my first EBMM and its a majesty 7. I wanted to ask other majesty owners how they feel about using a not locking strap? I see the poly pro locking straps and I want one but I dont want any plastid rubbing the guitar. And I have older leather end straps that still work really well and they seem to hold the buttons very well. Does ernie ball make any straps you guys think works really well with the majesty? Im not wanting to do strap locks. And the only reason Im really asking is because I saw a pic of a guy who dropped a majesty because his strap came off the backside and he cracked his body in multiple places. Im confident that wont happen even with my straps. But I kinda wanted to get something that matched the guitar. Im a nerd like that. So any Majesty owners have an opinion on a ernie ball strap that would be comfortable, secure, not damage the finish and look good with the "Ember Glow" color? One thing im also having a hard time with is every 2" strap I order from other companies come in and are barely 1.75" wide. What say those who certainly know more than I about this guitar?

All the Ernie Ball jacquard and polypro straps are a full 2" wide and their leather straps are 2.5" wide. Personally, I love the jacquard straps, they're much more comfortable than the polypro straps.

If you don't want locking strap buttons, get the EB Strap Blocks and put them over the strap button after the strap goes on. They work just great!

The Polylock straps are great too, but I think only available in black:

That said, I'm a fan of locking strap buttons. I personally use the Schaller ones (I have zillions from over the years), but there other good ones on the market including the EB system.
