So I have my black sparkle stingray 4 outfitted with the nice fender neoprene bass strap with dunlop dual design straploks. Unfortunately the straploks don't prevent the strap from breaking in half when you jump off the stage!

Any suggestions for a good strap? I'm inclined to get the same one I had before, as I like the springy, spongey, squarepantsy feel of it, but I thought I'd fish for recommendations first.

Does the Fender Neoprene look like this one?

I like that one a lot, but I just picked up a Comfort Strap - haven't gigged with it yet but it seems even more comfy than the neoprene strap. Will test it out this Saturday and report in, unless I decide to censor myself.

It wasn't a crazy stage dive, just a hop down from a stage that was about 1 foot off the ground. Luckily I was able to keep the bass from hitting the ground. Too bad same couldn't be said for the wireless pack. It took a ding, but it still works.

i have two i really like, one is a skinny black thing, its got an alien design on one end. that thing is durable like crazy, had it for like three years, with lots of gig time. then i have a blue flame get' get'm strap. the strap itself is very durable, looks awesome, and feels like a bathrobe on one side, however the stitching for the attachment part kinda started comming undone, but a little bit of duct tape fixed that real quick. throw on a set of schaller strap locks and it has never let me down.

I use a suede leather strap, not sure of the company, but it's made in canada. Dunlop strap locks. It's not falling soon.

I have a fender black/red monogrammed strap. Not too bad but, in my opinion definitely not the worst either.
