one of my strap things (the name has lost me) has come loose, and i was wondering if theres a non apoxy or tape way to fix this

What has come loose - the strap button or the screw? If it's the button - tighten the screw (I'm sure you knew that.) If the screw is stripped/loose in the hole, jam a toothpick in there and then put the screw back in.

...or did I completely miss the point? :p

I am almost certain that we have discussed this about a gazillion times. Did you try a search?

Okay....therapist says....cannot participate in threads about setups....and strap buttons....okay, okay, I'm okay.

its striped i'm guessing..

and no i didnt use the search, sorry about that, didnt remember seeing many or any of this topic.. but i will search for it

like hurley said. take out the screw. insert a toothpick. break it so its flush. re-insert screw. if one toothpick does not work, add unscrew and add toothpicks until desired firmness is achieved.

Two strands of insulated copper wire will do the trick also when used as mentioned above.
