Stress Cracks ...

Is there anything that a person can do to prevent stress cracks from happening. I know a stress crack isn't a major thing, only cosmetic, but I would prefer my bass to stay crack free...

I wouldn't be to concerned, I've owned many and have never even seen one in person. As long as you store the instrument correctly you'll be fine.

Billy give me a break. You are titleing a thread "stress cracks"...the issue was with JP guitars and was caused by the cases, and you post this?

What is it with the national enquirer thread titles to get attention?

Never had a single crack in any EB I have had or currently own. I have seen them on other brands, specifically older BC Rich, but never on an EB I have been looking at.
