I read in a magazine that you can reguvinate strings by boiling them in vinager. In your opinion, what would be the best way to clean/reguvinate my strings? Is there a specific cleaner of method that i could use?

Wipe them down after every gig/practice. If you want to go to the trouble of boiling them, go for it. All boiling does is clean the strings.

After boiling the strings, you can also serve them with a nice red sauce and meatballs.

But you really have to boil them for a long time.

I add some hot sauce and pepper for that spicy exotic touch

As mentiones- wipe 'em, wipe good from all the sweat and dirt. I also use Dunlop's Ultraglide 65 string cleaner & conditioner.. it does the trick.. the strings sound great after using it- warm, clean, bright, and easy to play. Plus, it gives them a fresh lemony smell!
